Al Jacobson is a Consulting Associate to PAGE Management Counsel Ltd.

PAGE Management Counsel Ltd. facilitates clients to:

The constructive use of conflict and dispute resolution is essential for achieving effective and efficient organizations. PAGE Management Counsel has built a resource base that integrates management, technical and legal knowledge and experience with the ability to manage conflict.

- Mr. Jacobson began his career as a financial analyst with GE in 1977. In 1979 he joined Hickling Johnston, a national firm that specialized in Strategy and Organization consulting. He later joined KPMG Consulting as a Partner, and there successfully built a large and diversified consulting practice encompassing HR Strategy and Change Management, Training and Development, Quality and Continuous Improvement, Compensation, Relocation Counselling and Executive Search. Since 1998 he has been providing Management Consulting as the main Principal of Jacobson Page, a Human Resources Management Consulting firm and as a Consulting Associate for PAGE Management Counsel. 

- Mr. Jacobson obtained his Certified Management Consultant designation in 1982 and served on the Provincial Institute's Board of Directors from 1985 to 1989. As a Board member of the Human Resource Management Institute of Edmonton he worked on the initial concepts of the CHRP designation. He obtained the B.Com. degree from the University of Alberta in 1977 and has undertaken continuing education in areas related to management and leadership with organizations such as the Instructional Systems Association, the Human Resource Planning Society and the Academy of Management. He has collaborated with Dr. Pfeffer and other well-known management researchers on twenty unique Leadership training modules for self-paced, online learning.  

 - In addition to his pursuits with business and management development Mr. Jacobson is an active contributor to community organizations. He has served as a Vice President for the University of Alberta Alumni Council; Board Member for the UofA Faculty of Design; President, Onsite Placement (a program for placement assistance for persons with brain injury or learning challenges) and most recently as a Board Member of the Rotary International's Edmonton Club.
